Walter Stampfli joins artimelt as its new CEO

Walter Stampfli was appointed CEO of artimelt, the Swiss hotmelt specialist, effective January 1, 2017. Walter Stampfli has 19 years of experience in the global adhesives industry. Most recently, he worked for Henkel in his capacity as General Manager Industrial Adhesives, where he was responsible for the adhesives used in engineered wood applications. Previously, Walter Stampfli was General Manager at Purbond, the specialist in polyurethane adhesives for the engineered wood industry. Prior to his tenure with Purbond, he was employed by Collano as a Region Head. In 2016, Collano and nolax bundled all hotmelt activities within LAS Holding and migrated them to the new artimelt competence center. artimelt operates worldwide and serves markets for medical, label, tape, packaging, graphics, security and building applications.
