Top Labels for Top Wine

One of England's most highly-regarded wines, Grosvenor 2001 Blanc de Blancs from the Ridgeview Estate, Sussex, was recently awarded the title of ‘Best Presented Wine' in the English & Welsh Wine of the Year Competition 2010 for the eyecatching packaging of its Magnums.    Self-adhesive labels printed on Fasson® MP Silver with Fasson S2047 adhesive from Avery Dennison were at the centre of the sophisticated ‘packaging', which also enhanced the wine's prestige and reflected the estate's identity with hand-crafted wooden boxes.   

Tamara Roberts, Ridgeview General Manager, expressed her delight at receiving the accolade.   ‘Not only was this the first Magnum we have ever released,' she said, ‘but it was also dressed in our new range of labels designed by the excellent Linea Design.  The whole image of our wines is of great importance,  and the impact of good labelling on the consumer should never be underestimated.'
