Successful start to the new year: Marzek Etiketten+Packaging wins WorldStar Award and Golden Pixel Award
Marzek Etiketten+Packaging has started the year with two prestigious awards: the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) honoured the label and packaging specialist from Traiskirchen with the coveted WorldStar Award. In addition, the Marzek team was presented with a Golden Pixel Award.
Golden Pixel Award
The Golden Pixel Award honours Austria's best print projects and concepts every year. After seven nominations, Marzek Etiketten+Packaging is delighted to have won the Golden Pixel Award in the ‘Flexographic Printing Projects’ category. The thermochromic label for ‘Zweigelt –FREDDO – der Kühle Rote’ from the Nittnaus brothers' winery in Gols am Neusiedler See impressed the jury with its use of thermochromic dyes. These dyes indicate when this red wine has developed its full aroma – ideally at a temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius. The grapes in the Nittnaus logo then turn blue. The words ‘Perfectly tempered’ also appear in blue under the product name. Apart from this creative solution, the label scores points with its clear, modern design on a high-quality printing material that is pleasant to the touch. The focus is on the winery's logo with its stylised grape, which has been embellished with gold foil stamping, further emphasising the high-quality character of the product. Both the agency services and the production for this project were provided by Marzek Etiketten+Packaging.

WorldStar Award
Just a few days earlier, Marzek Etiketten+Packaging was honoured with one of the WorldStar Awards, which are presented annually by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) for outstanding packaging. The label and filling of Vieno Pure Classic rapeseed and sunflower oil in the bioplastic bottle were awarded in the ‘Food’ category. This project was developed in collaboration with VIMEKSIM International GmbH. The bottle is produced by NaKu e.U., which specialises in innovative packaging made from bioplastics based on renewable raw materials. Both the agency services and the production for this project were provided by Marzek Etiketten+Packaging.

Winning the WorldStar Award and the Golden Pixel Award – as well as numerous national and international awards in previous years – impressively underscores the high quality of Marzek Etiketten+Packaging and its commitment to consistently meeting the highest standards.
