RITRAMA & FSC: Politics of Substainable Management

Ritrama has achieved the FSC Chain of Custody certifications for a range of labelstock produced at its Ritrama S.p.A. coating factory in Sassoferrato (Italy) and for its slitting and distribution centre in Caponago (Italy).

FSC (the Forest Stewardship Council) is currently the main global forest management certifications. The chain of custody tracks certified material from the forest to the final labelstock product, and guarantees that the material comes from FSC approved mills according to the norm FSC –STD -40-004 v.2 sustainably managed, legally logged forests.

The Ritrama Group of companies globally support responsible forestry management initiatives like FSC and believes this approach contribute to the protection of our the environment. Ritrama fully support all customers for paper based products with their FSC Chain of Custody requirements.

The Sassoferrato factory is the main Ritrama site manufacturing wine labelstock in Europe, that represents an important product range in continuous grow in the recent years, so now  we are  able to supply certified materials to our customers.

Ricardo Rink -the Ritrama CEO- said that the FSC achievement together with others dedicated projects with the aim to reduce environmental impact confirms that sustainability is our ethical commitment, which we also extend to partners and suppliers. We are convinced  that a cleaner world and improved quality of life are attainable goals.
