Packaging Innovations visitors to discover how Esko software makes it easier to digitize, automate and connect

Esko will underline the importance of digitizing, automating and connecting people and processes when the company spotlights its latest software solutions at this month’s Packaging Innovations expo.

From 15 to 16 February, the Esko team will be at the Birmingham NEC event where it will showcase how its suite of software solutions makes it easier for packaging companies to connect its people and processes, to access data, automate operations and to drive operational efficiencies.

“From the energy crisis and the erosion of margins to material shortages and labor and skills deficits, we know there are many significant challenges for businesses today,” said James Mason, Regional Business Director at Esko. “It is now imperative that companies review their current business operations and identify areas where they can make meaningful improvements and drive operational efficiencies in order that they meet the challenges of today and prepare for those of tomorrow.

“With today’s brands and packaging suppliers facing a catalog of potentially crippling challenges, we have developed our latest software innovations specifically to make it easier for people and processes to connect, to automate operations and to drive operational improvements,” said James.

“For example, we know the manual reseparation of images and artwork to match brands’ color accuracy demands can be a laborious and error-prone process,” said James. “With the recent introduction of our new GMG OpenColor Connector in Esko ArtPro+, we are able to automate the reseparation so that prepress professionals can now accurately visualize color in before-and-after states and assess color deviations on-screen with precise Delta E readouts,” he said.

“Following our recent acquisition of Tilia Labs, Esko is also delivering on the need of brand owners and converters to connect and integrate the entire value chain through upstream digitalization. We look forward to demonstrating our new product offering as part of the Tilia integration, Esko Phoenix* at Packaging Innovations. Featuring intelligent algorithms for sheet layout, estimation and planning, this underlines our commitment to delivering integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate the go-to-market process for consumer packaged goods.”

James said the team would also showcase other automated workflow improvements, such as new multi-MIS support in Esko Automation Engine SaaS and new configuration tools in WebCenter that improve user experience.

From 15 to 16 February, the Packaging Innovations & Empack 2023, featuring Contract Pack & Fulfilment show brings together professionals from across the packaging industry at the Birmingham NEC. Visit the Esko team at booth, #E70, or for more information on Esko solutions, visit www.esko.com
