OMET will take part in Label Summit Africa with a double stand in cooperation with local representative Presstec

OMET and Presstec, a company founded by Antron and Grant Hendricks, will share a double stand at the upcoming Label Summit Africa. Their co-operative work to develop OMET’s brand in the area is proceeding at a rapid pace and has resulted already in two orders for presses of the XFlex line. They both confirm this is just the beginning.

OMET and Presstec inform there will be a further expansion of the Italian brand in the area and have joined efforts to promote OMET’s innovative label and packaging solutions to all South African customers. They will address converters to present two of the latest innovations of OMET: XFlex X4, entry-level press combining ease of use and tradition to the most innovative and reliable controls available on the market for presses of this kind, and the newly launched XFlex X6 with the combination flexo/offset. For lower budget companies looking for flexibility of processes and simple operation, OMET offers XFlex X2, mechanical press with servo-assisted infeed, short web path and boosted machine efficiency through overall savings.

The ability of Presstec to present the peculiarities of OMET’s presses to the converters, and promote the right product for any specific need is a point of honour of Antron and Grant Hendricks who were trained in Italy and know the machines by heart. The two presses running in South Africa at customer Label Link of Cape Town and Klint Scales of Durban, respectively XFlex X2 and XFlex X4, are proving their efficiency and flexibility on different materials while the customers are being taken good care by an experienced local post-sales assistance team. Both presses are meant to favor the approach to film packaging printing thanks to the presence of chilled drums, reliable cross printing registration and quality accuracy.

Sergio Villa, OMET Sales Area Manager has good feelings about the South African market and is happy to rely on the strong partnership with Presstec: “Customers who will pay a visit to our booth will find in us the right partner ready to listen to their ideas and experiences. Customers have the most acute feelings about market trends. It’s up to us to be capable to propose in return the most suitable equipment and solve their present needs and realize their dreams.” So continues Sergio Villa: “We, in OMET, have the most comprehensive range of presses and the deepest know-how matured in over 50 years of presence in this market. We know how to build machines that are solid, reliable and highly advanced in their on-board software and controls. We will be more than happy to help customers improve their efficiency through highly advanced printing presses aimed at supporting their most stringent necessities in matters like quality, printing consistency, competitiveness, flexibility and combination technology.”

OMET is looking forward to meeting customers in its booth (#3) on March 10 and 11, 2014.
