Omet chooses Vetaphone for its JetPlus launch

When leading Italian narrow web press manufacture Omet launched its new flexo/digital hybrid press at an international media event in Lecco recently, it chose Vetaphone to supply the corona treatment unit. The new Omet JetPlus is based on well-proven technology, using the XFlex X6 platform integrated with a Domino N Series inkjet engine.

Designed for single pass production as a hybrid, but with the facility to work as a dedicated flexo or digital line as required, corona treatment is key to the JetPlus’ performance across a range of substrates, and the choice of Vetaphone marks the continuation of a well established working partnership between the two companies.

Speaking for Vetaphone, Italian agent Giuseppe Rossi stated: “With converters having increasingly high quality standards to meet for their customers it is essential that the substrate is presented to the press in the very best condition, irrespective of whether it is flexo or digital. Vetaphone is delighted to be entrusted with supplying the corona technology by both two leading OEMs, Omet and Domino.”
