Nilpeter strengthens Middle East presence at major trade event

Nilpeter Middle East will be exhibiting at Gulf Print & Pack, held 8-11 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Stand No. D5. The show covers the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, which includes some fast-growing markets for the Danish-based press manufacturer.
Nilpeter ME will present information on Nilpeter's range of narrow- and mid-web printing presses for producing self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging.

• FA-Line of UV-flexo combination presses available in four web widths
from 340 mm to 570 mm, and with a multi-substrate capability.
• The high-performance FB-3 UV-flexo press with a web width of 350 mm
and a top speed of 228 m/minute.
• The 420 mm wide, servo-driven MO-4 offset-based platform press
with sleeve technology for both flexo and offset printing.
• The CASLON print system mounted on an FA-4 platform that combines
digital printing with UV-InkJet for CMYK and spot colour with UV-flexo printing.

Nilpeter ME operates from a new facility in Dubai, supported by a substantial sales and technical support team. "Since its inception, we have been a committed supplier in offering top-class, narrow-web machines in the Middle East," said Shyam Babu, managing director. "We have had an overwhelming response from customers in the region and were asked to provide additional solutions such as finishing and more".

Responding to this demand, Nilpeter ME recently became a distributor for AB Graphic International. It handles sales and technical support for the company's Vectra range of turret rewinders, and the Omega and Flytec slitter/inspection systems. Nilpeter ME is also licensed to sell the Omega Digicon converting line, which can operate inline with Nilpeter's hybrid flexo and InkJet CASLON label printing module. Countries covered by the distribution agreement include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, and Oman.

Also, Nilpeter ME is partnering with Quote & Print Software from Sydney, Australia. Q&P is the oldest and largest Print ERP software company in Australia with 600 current users. Their software covers the complete requirements of a modern day printer, namely, estimating, quoting, job bags, pre & post costing, scheduling, manufacturing, inventory, invoicing, etc..

Until recently, the collectors had been uninterested in self-adhesive stamps because they could not be steamed off envelopes. But thanks to a special laminate developed by paper suppliers Avery and Raflatac, in collaboration with Nilpeter and Post Danmark, the Danish self-adhesive stamps may be steamed off without damage to the stamp.
