MPS Joins Flexpack Tech Tour to Present the latest in Multi-Substrate Printing Press Solutions Across USA

MPS America LLC joins other leaders from the narrow web supply chain in the Flexpack Tech Tour, a series of seminars across the USA addressing challenges, direction and solutions with flexible package printing.

MPS today announced its participation with other leaders from the narrow web flexible supply chain in hosting the Flexpack Tech Tour, a series of free seminars across the USA to share knowledge and discuss flexible packaging trends, challenges and solutions. At the first seminar in California, Denny McGee and Eric van den Berg of MPS America LLC will be presenting the EF multi-substrate press technology in addition to the EXL-packaging press, solutions which allow narrow web printers to capitalize on flexible packaging opportunities.

MPS joins forces with Avery Dennison, GEW, DuPont, Karlville, Screen and Zeller+Gmelin in the series of seminars to discuss various topics such as low migration UV inks, nitrogen inert UV curing, newest printing plate technology, latest high and standard barrier flexible packaging substrates, 4800 dpi imaging technology, converting equipments and the latest press technologies. The first seminar will be held on March 13 in Los Angeles, California. Other dates include April 17 in North Carolina, May 8 in Texas, June 12 in New York and November 5 in Illinois.

The MPS EF multi-substrate press technology will be featured during the seminars, which is especially designed for label production as well as the printing of flexible packaging on unsupported film or carton board. Change of materials can be done rapidly and register and control systems ensure that printing meets the pre-established guidelines. A range of converting options can also be integrated to comply with the latest needs of shelf differentiation required by brand manufacturers.

Denny McGee, president of MPS America LLC comments: “The Flexpack Tech Tour provides an ideal opportunity to engage with leading US narrow web converters in a setting that provides an open dialogue. Specific needs can be discussed and responded directly with collective knowledge and shared solutions. There are many new market opportunities for current label printers to print shrink sleeves, pouches, and flexible packaging with the focus on short runs and faster turnaround. MPS supports its customers with these new printing developments and packaging evolutions.”

Narrow web converters that are interested in meeting with leaders from the narrow web flexible supply chain to learn about the latest flexible packaging technologies and market opportunities are invited to register for one of the free seminars held across the USA. Registration can be made online by visiting the Flexpack Tech Tour website at www.flexpacktechtour.com.
