Mitsubishi HiTec Paper welcomes 19 new apprentices

On August 1st 2016 19, new trainees launched their professional career at Mitsubishi HiTec Paper’s mills in Bielefeld and Flensburg. Among them are seven paper technologists, three machine and plant operators, two industrial clerks, three industrial mechanics, two electronics technicians and two warehouse and logistics operatives.

An exciting time awaits the new trainees. During the next few years they will make new experiences and gain new insights through their intensive training, whether it be on the large paper machines, the ultra-modern coating machines or in the management and distribution of the global manufacturer of coated specialty papers.

All new trainees start with the “Fit Trainees” programme: health and safety conduct rules are explained and they are introduced to the company’s organization and integrated management system, as well as being given training in first aid and fire protection.

Training young people at their sites in Bielefeld and Flensburg is very important to Mitsubishi HiTec Paper.
"Especially in the light of demographic trends, competitive production and worldwide distribution of our high quality specialty papers is only possible with well-trained specialists," says Andreas Born, Head of Training in Bielefeld.
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper is also very proud of the exceptionally long average length of service of its employees, which is over 19 years.
