Labels more resistant and attractive with overlaminating films

UPM Raflatac has launched a range of PP and PET overlaminating films in a variety of thicknesses and finishes. Gloss, matt and textured options provide unique effects that enhance the looks and functionality of almost any paper or filmic label across a broad spectrum of end-uses.

Overlaminating makes labels more durable, extending their lifetime and protecting the print from abrasion. It also gives a quality look and feel, and creates an impression of higher print contrast and colour intensity.

Particularly with paper labels, using an overlaminating film increases resistance to water and chemical spills, improves mechanical and thermal stability and allows labels to be wiped clean. The adhesives supplied with the 12 films in the range have excellent clarity, and selected overlaminates are compatible with the no-label look.
