HP introduces the HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press to maximise productivity and reliability for the future of work
Today, HP introduced the HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press. This press is designed to meet the increasing demand for digital label production with outstanding productivity, operational robustness and exceptional versatility.
The label and packaging market continues to evolve, with a growing need for multiple SKUs, faster time-to-market and greater diversity of applications. In response, HP is launching the next generation of its industry-leading label press: the HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press. Based on the proven performance of the HP Indigo 6K - of which more than 2,300 have already been installed worldwide - the 6K+ is designed to meet the growing needs of the industry. While maintaining HP standards of quality and versatility, the HP Indigo 6K+ maximises productivity thanks to the new SmartControlSystem and intelligent automation tools.

The HP Indigo 6K+ is designed for converters looking to increase operational efficiency and expand their applications. The press excels at printing on-demand, short-runs and high-mix jobs, with high accuracy and consistent quality.
With support for a variety of substrates and complex applications such as smart labels with brand protection and data-driven designs, the 6K+ offers plenty of opportunities for market diversification.
From self-adhesive labels to shrink sleeves, IML, wrap-arounds, flexible packaging and folding cartons, the press can accommodate virtually any label type. With seven ink stations and spot colours, the press covers up to 97% of the colour spectrum and supports a wide range of special inks such as Silver ElectroInk, invisible and UV-resistant inks, and an extensive white ink portfolio.
Sustainability that pays off
With shorter set-up and execution times, the HP Indigo 6K+ reduces CO₂ emissions per job by up to 20% and reduces media loss. The press supports a variety of sustainable substrates with recycled and renewable materials.
In addition, the new consumables reduce maintenance time - up to several hours per month per press - and waste, allowing companies to meet their sustainability goals without compromising profitability.
