HERMA self-adhesive materials: Sales team Down Under reinforced

• Ian Sarney adds experience to Australian sales partner
• HERMA seeks expansion with Result Group

Michael Dossor's team at HERMA's sales partner in Australia has been reinforced. Ian Sarney is the new contact for self-adhesive material sales within the Result Group. In collaboration with its commercial agent, HERMA is thus reaffirming its commitment to international expansion. The self-adhesive materials specialist has recently extended its customer support provisions on both the European and South American markets. Ian Sarney (51) is to look after the accounts of customers in all the Australian states, as well as clients in New Zealand, from his office at the agent's headquarters in Dandenong in the metropolitan district of Melbourne. Customers on the remote continent, which nonetheless harbours significant potential for HERMA, now have their own local contact specifically for self-adhesive materials.

The experienced sales professional has already been working in the paper, printing, packaging, labelling and processing industries for more than 25 years. Even before joining HERMA's sales partner, Ian Sarney was therefore very familiar with just about all customer requirements. He was most recently responsible for a wide range of duties with a leading global producer of rotary tooling for printing, punching and cutting applications.

Strategic partner
Describing this new offensive, HERMA managing director Dr. Thomas Baumgärtner says, "Down Under, the Result Group is a strategic partner for us. We therefore welcome and support any reinforcement for what is already a flexible team. Michael Dossor and his employees exploit fresh applications and market potential, while adopting an uncompromising strategy in pursuit of quality and service goals. We are thus a very good match." HERMA's Self-adhesive Materials division currently generates around two-thirds of its sales inside Europe. "Our next target is to post substantial growth beyond Europe as well," comments Dr. Baumgärtner.
