Gallus Group - Post-Show Labelexpo Europe 2025 statement
HEIDELBERG and Gallus have celebrated a successful Labelexpo this year, with strong demand across its entire System to Compose portfolio, underscoring the company’s commitment to driving innovation and transformation across the label and narrow-web sector.
“We are very pleased with the market response and customer engagement that we’ve seen at this year’s show,” comments Dario Urbinati, CEO, Gallus Group. “Presenting three major new innovations on this global stage and seeing them resonate really reinforced the industry demand and readiness for the next generation of smart, connected print solutions. With these new solutions, we are making the benefits of digital and hybrid technologies both accessible and commercially viable for businesses across the entire value chain.”
With speeds of up to 100m/minute, the Gallus Five sets a new benchmark in industrial-level hybrid production, delivering substantial productivity and performance gains, while the Gallus Alpha provides a safe, accessible entry point for companies taking their first steps into digital, or for those who have previously struggled to make it work. Meanwhile, the company’s new on-site training initiative, the Gallus Print Academy, supports customers in their transition to smart, connected printing, developing expertise and helping to unlock next-generation print potential. “These innovations exemplify our commitment to driving the industry forward at every level, and we are looking forward, particularly now seeing how well they’ve been received, to watching the real-world impact unfold over the coming months and years,” adds Urbinati. “There had been a lot of anticipation across the industry about how the first Labelexpo in Barcelona would perform, and from a HEIDELBERG and Gallus perspective – from market reaction and feedback to product sales, across both new and existing solutions – the outcome has surpassed expectations, with strong sales spanning our entire portfolio. Our experience at this year’s show reinforces that, despite continued challenging conditions for label businesses to navigate, the market is thriving. It’s hugely encouraging to see our customers adapt, innovate, and flourish, and we are pleased to be part of that journey.” The Gallus Five is already set for installation at Gallus’ central hub in St Gallen, the Gallus Experience Center, and will be available for demos at the end of this quarter, giving customers the chance to experience firsthand the next generation of hybrid production.
