Flint strengthens support for folding carton customers in Russia

Flint Group has expanded its sheet-fed production and distribution network in Russia with the opening of a low migration ink mixing station in its Moscow facility.

The low migration ink mixing station follows GMP guidelines and is compliant to European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) recommendations for food packaging printing. This will enable Flint Group's Russian entity to support its local package printing customers by optimizing logistics and improving lead times, the ink manufacturer said, with development of the Moscow facility described as ‘yet another step in Flint Group's strategy to grow in key markets’, as well as a commitment to ‘providing optimal performance and consistency of products’ to customers worldwide.

‘This investment reflects our commitment to the sheet-fed printing industry and especially to our folding carton customers,’ said Romain Boulot, VP of EMEA sheet-fed sales at Flint Group. ‘It will complete our geographical footprint and strengthen our local service by offering state of the art local mixing service, including conventional and UV low migration spot colors.’

‘Our conventional and UV Low Migration product portfolio quality and consistency is well recognised; we are committed to providing the best supply service across all regions,’ concluded Boulot.
