Fixed Anilox Printing success prompts staff expansion for Pulse Roll Label Products
Pulse Roll Label Products (‘Pulse’), the narrow web printing ink specialist, is expanding its technical sales team following the success of the company’s revolutionary Monolox Fixed Anilox Printing system.
With more than 35 years’ experience in the ink and print sector, Sean Labas joins Pulse as Technical Sales Representative to advise customers on the very latest innovations from Pulse that can help them achieve the best results. His appointment follows the continued success of Monolox, the groundbreaking Fixed Anilox Printing process championed by Pulse that enables the production of any spot colour using just one anilox volume.
Sean’s extensive ink technology knowledge and specialist experience in colour management and lamp applications with UV and LED inks will be a huge asset to the business, which also recently launched the dual cure UV LED ink solution PureTone DC®.
Having previously studied ink technology at West Herts College, prior to joining Pulse Sean spent many years working as a technical sales manager for several ink producers. Throughout his career he has often dealt with UV specialty coatings and UV digital primers, developing his extensive ink application knowledge with workflow and colour management software providers.
Gary Seward, Managing Director of Pulse, said: “Thanks to the success of our Monolox Fixed Anilox Printing system, Pulse finds itself in a position to expand our team and bring exciting new skills and experience into the business.
“Sean has a proven track record and invaluable experience in flexo, colour and ink technology. His appointment will add further incredible knowledge to our technical team, ensuring that as the business grows, we can continue to offer our customers the industry-leading support they have come to expect. We’re thrilled to welcome Sean and I’m confident he will become an integral part of our success.”
Sean Labas said: “It’s an exciting time to join Pulse as the business advances the cutting edge in printing ink technology. With Monolox Fixed Anilox Printing and now PureTone DC, Gary and the team have shown their commitment and expertise in providing the solutions that are revolutionising the industry, and I am looking forward to helping share these systems further in my new role.”
