FINAT announces theme of 2009 conference

With an eye looking towards an upturn in the world's economic difficulties, FINAT , the global association for the self-adhesive label industry, has chosen 'Strategies for growth in challenging times' as the theme of its 2009 annual conference.

The conference, which will be held at the Gloria Golf Resort, Antalya, Turkey, on June 10-12, is returning to that country in recognition of the growth of ESD, the Turkish Label Association - created after the 1998 conference in Istanbul - and which has become one of the principle sources of growth within FINAT's membership.

Jules Lejeune, managing director of FINAT, said: ‘We are lining up a star-studded program of speakers who will help point the way towards a recovery in the economic situation that will bring about new opportunities for those who have their strategies for growth in place.'

As a further aid, FINAT is inviting supplier members to take advantage of business-to-business opportunities that the conference's associated exhibition presents.
