Esko at FachPack: “Packaging Connected”

Esko’s (www.esko.com) innovative packaging software solutions for brand owners, trade shops and converters, as well as a Kongsberg X22 cutting table will be on show at Esko’s booth 438 in Hall 7A.

At the show, Esko will address the various packaging development challenges faced by brand owners, premedia and converters, aiming at streamlining the end-to-end production. Esko connects the different stakeholders in the packaging workflow on one platform, delivering transparency and higher efficiency, faster time to market and fewer human touchpoints, thus reducing chances for errors. Job specifications, order information, approval cycles, CAD and graphic data, manufacturing and logistics requirements and more, all come together in one connected and integrated workflow.

Show Highlights

Highlights of the Esko Software Platform’s latest software versions to be demonstrated include:

  • QuickStart” solutions of Automation Engine and WebCenter: quickly deployable state-of-the-art workflow solutions for specific packaging and sign applications. They include project and asset management tools for quick and easy project handling, approvals and connection with ERP/MIS systems.
  • ArtPro+: the next generation native PDF editor that reshapes packaging prepress editing into an intuitive QA tool with fewer clicks. Within the editor routine, functions can be automated to speed up production. Novel features like the powerful Packaging Preflight functionality within ArtPro+, and the new DeskPack plug-in Text Recognition will be demonstrated.
  • ArtiosCAD and Studio: structural and 3D design solutions that range from connected structural design databases dedicated to organize design and manufacturing at multi-site enterprises, to automatic creation of hyper-realistic 3D packshots that are used for proofing, marketing and e-commerce.

Besides Esko softwares, the Kongsberg X22 cutting table also stands for value, durability, reliability, precision and ease of use at an attractive investment level. It features a lightweight carbon composite traverse to consistently provide the fastest throughput.
