Durst announces expert line-up for Packaging Innovations & Empack show

Durst, world leader in inkjet label production, will be showcasing the wide range of applications possible for customers on its Tau inkjet single-pass presses on its stand A49 in Hall 1 at Packaging Innovations and Empack at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, from 25-26 May. Packaging applications, which will include a focus on Durst’s acclaimed water-based ink technology and P5 wide-format platform, will also be part of the show offering.

Thomas Macina, Global Sales Manager Label & Flexible Printing, who joined the Durst Group just over a year ago, will be on the Durst stand with other experts including Simon Cosh, the Durst UK & Ireland Label Business Development Manager who has more than 30 years’ experience as an inkjet specialist in the print and graphic communications industry, plus Managing Director Peter Bray, as well as Business Development Manager Neil Williams.

The Durst RSC Tau UV portfolio covers the RSC E and RSC presses for short and medium runs, and the RSCi for medium and long runs, as well Durst Workflow Label software and other integration packages. Durst offers for its Large Format and Graphics, Label and Flexpack and Corrugated printing segments specific ink sets based on UV or Water Technology. These inks combine high system stability, low ink consumption, a large color space and a wide range of applications. The Durst P5 350 press, including the HS model, will also be spotlighted for packaging applications.
