Cyrille ROZE new president of UNFEA

The new President of UNFEA was appointed during the General Assembly which took place by videoconference on 26 June 2020. Cyrille ROZE succeeds Jean-Michel FOUQUET who after two terms of two years was responsible for UNFEA's strong presence towards authorities in the label industry in order to move the business forward.

There are many objectives for the new Chairman. Indeed, the Federation has already developed a wide range of services for members, but it is necessary both to make them better known and to continue to develop them. In addition, the recruitment of new members must be continued, a recruitment which has been very dynamic over the last few years, but which is essential to consolidate to ensure the durability and representativeness of UNFEA. "The 6 strategic goals worked on with all the volunteers of the office and under the presidency of Jean-Michel Fouquet will be deepened: Training and recruitment, Industry of the Future, Innovation, Regulatory Compliance, Market Knowledge and Environmental Policy. For each of these themes, developments are rapid and challenges fundamental for both the industry as a whole and for each member at company level".

In addition, the sector has been witnessing significant consolidation in recent years and in this context meeting the expectations of the major groups that are being formed is a major challenge for UNFEA. Finally, the context of the pandemic that we are going through shows how important it is for our federation to ensure its informative role and to stay as close as possible to its members. In short, there's plenty to keep the head of STIC IMAGE in Lyon busy!
