Connectedness through the years: 35 years of Labelexpo – FINAT partnership
On day 2 of Labelexpo Europe 2025, it is time to already share a couple of takeaways:
It is the first edition of the show at its new venue, the Fira Barcelona, after almost 40 years in Brussels, but also the last one under its old name. As of 2026, LOUPE is the new brand. At this demarcation point, FINAT celebrated 35 years of Presenting Association Partnership with Informa Markets and its predecessors, presenting a sculpture symbolising ‘Connectedness through the years’ to Managing Director Jade Grace.
The role of platforms such as Labelexpo/LOUPE and associations like FINAT is of critical importance in these turbulent geopolitical times, as became clear before and during the show in several instances.
At FINAT, our mission is to foster a healthy, innovative, and resilient label ecosystem by connecting stakeholders across the entire value chain. We believe that open dialogue, transparency, and international collaboration are essential to building trust and ensuring the long-term competitiveness of our sector.
We do not take positions on commercial matters between individual companies. However, we strongly support the principle of fair and open markets, where innovation, customer value, and sustainability drive progress. As the industry gathers at Labelexpo, we are reminded of the strength and diversity of our community, and the importance of working together across borders to navigate complex challenges, promote excellence, and safeguard the freedom of choice that has always been at the heart of this industry.
We remain committed to facilitating conversations that help build understanding, unity, and shared purpose because it is only together that we can shape a thriving future for our industry.
