Chinese trade shop, Sinwa, decides to go with a nyloflex® NExT exposure

Founded in Shanghai in the year 2000, the flexo plate tradeshop, Sinwa, evolved very quickly to a leading supplier position in the Chinese flexo printing industry. Meanwhile, 120 well-trained employees serve the customers countrywide from six sites. From its inception, the company has been committed to steadily developing the quality level of flexo printing. Perfect service and excellent printing plate quality are a matter of course. These efforts were rewarded by numerous prizes achieved from flexo competitions both in China and North America.

The positive experience with Flint Group and the superb cooperation with the local Flint Group employees induced Sinwa to install a nyloflex® NExT Exposure in May 2015. The nyloflex® NExT exposure technology utilises a high intensity UV-A LED light source to conduct rapid crosslinking of the photopolymer surface. The high UV-A output results in a virtual 1:1 image reproduction from the digital file to the finished plate. In flexible packaging, printing plates exposed with this technology allow excellent ink transfer, particularly in solids, due to the option to precisely reproduce surface screening structures. And in corrugated printing, fluting will considerably be reduced. With this configuration, the innovation leader in the Chinese flexo printing market further improves its efficiency to offer added value to the customers.

”We are very proud that such an innovative company like Sinwa has decided to go with our system,” says QiHong-Magenta Zheng, General Manager Flint Group Flexographic Products in China. And Michael Lin, Managing Director Sinwa, adds: ”We can completely rely on the nyloflex® NExT exposure technology, which has been proven to be the easiest and most consistent way for the flat top dot application; meanwhile it enhances our competence and further differentiates us.”

Already in the beginning of this year, Sinwa’s management had decided to expand its business into the letterpress area for label printing, and thus to purchase the compact letterpress plate-making system, nyloprint® Combination CW 50 x 70, from Flint Group.
