CCL extends industrial capabilities with Fritz Brunnhöfer acquisition

CCL Industries has acquired Fritz Brunnhöfer for a net purchase price of 7.8 million USD as it looks to build its business in the industrial and aerospace sectors.

Fritz Brunnhöfer produces labels and signs used in the aerospace, automotive and navigation industries, as well as for promotional and advertising purposes. It will transition into the CCL Design trading identity over the second half of 2015. CCL Design develops and manufactures design products and labeling options for the automotive and non-automotive industrial markets. The purchase price includes a manufacturing facility held in a related property company.

‘This acquisition builds on our developing presence in the German durable goods label market bringing new customer relationships in the industrial and aerospace sectors,’ said Geoffrey T. Martin, president and CEO at CCL. ‘The new business is well managed and will integrate easily into CCL Design, which is headquartered in Germany.’
