Carl Van Rooy joins the VIGC team, Didier Haazen becomes CTO at Group Joos

VIGC is pleased to introduce their new Senior Innovation Consultant, Carl Van Rooy as per 3 June 2019. Didier Haazen will in turn take over the position of CTO (Chief Technology Officer) from 17 June 2019 by Group Joos.

Carl Van Rooy is no stranger to the VIGC organisation where he was already working between 2008 and 2013. He has also built a rich career as a: prepress manager at Proost nv; Production Manager at Bulckens printing company and more recently as Methods & Engineering Manager at Autajon Labels. "Carl brings a lot of knowledge regarding workflow automation, operational knowledge about digital and conventional printing techniques and labels & packaging into the VIGC organisation. We are pleased that Carl can work for VIGC again and contribute to innovation within the graphic industry in the Benelux ", says Managing Director Jos Steutelings.

Didier Haazen, who has been working at VIGC since August 2000, is taking on a new challenge as CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at Group Joos. Jos Steutelings characterizes Didier as a committed colleague: "Didier has meant a lot to our organisation and is without doubt one of the PDF specialists in Belgium and beyond. As one of the VIGC figureheads we will miss him, but we, as VIGC team, also grant him this new challenge. Didier will remain involved to steer planned PDF courses in the right direction.”

Didier Haazen: "In my career I am happy to be able to contribute to the operation of VIGC and innovations within the graphic sector. I am already looking forward with great enthusiasm and commitment to setting up improvement projects, to lead innovation projects and share my knowledge as Chief Technology Officer at Group Joos."

The Flemish Innovation Center for Graphic Communication is an organisation that focuses on technological and business innovation within the graphic sector. Last year it celebrated its 20th anniversary. Its mission is to provide insight and overview in a pragmatic way in an ever-evolving technological environment.
