Bar Graphic Machinery appoints distributor for the Americas Will Show at Labelexpo Chicago

Bar Graphic Machinery, whose innovative converting and finishing equipment is to be found in many leading label and packaging industry printers around the world, announces further international expansion with the appointment of J & J Converting Machinery of Grandview, Missouri as its distributor in the Americas.

The new partnership will be much in evidence in September at Chicago’s LabelExpo Americas, where BGM equipment will feature prominently on the J & J Converting stand (Stand 1818).

Explains BGM chairman Bill Rhodes: “Experience has taught us the importance of having the right quality of representation in overseas markets, and in J & J Converting we’re partnering with a company of engineers whose expert knowledge, technical expertise and innovative approach to solving complex machinery challenges matches our own”.

Established in 2002, J & J Converting has earned an enviable reputation across North and South America for rebuilding narrow web flexographic presses and for developing application-specific converting machines that integrate proven production methods with the latest available technology.

An inspection of BGM’s manufacturing factory and visits to a number of BGM customers quickly persuaded J & J Converting’s sales director John Dignam that this was an opportunity not to be missed.

“I was hugely impressed with the quality of BGM’s operation, in their engineering design and manufacture, and also with the obvious regard in which BGM is held by customers large and small for the quality of its machines, service and support”, said Mr Dignam.

“Label printers in North and South America face the same day-to-day production issues that BGM has been so successful at overcoming in its home markets. I’m confident that through our partnership BGM will be able to export that success across the Atlantic”.

Adds BGM managing director Annemarie Rhodes: “We were on the same wavelength from the very start. The people at J & J Converting are as passionate as we are about the industry and have built their business, like ours, on long-term customer relationships based on proven performance and reliability and continuous solutions-based innovation.”
