Avery Dennison showcases its digital range with “Go For Pro” competition
Avery Dennison has announced “GoForPro Contest 2013,” a digital graphics web-based competition for converters and installers to share examples of their unique, well-installed and/or high impact digital print applications.
Co-sponsored by HP, Epson and Mimaki, GoForPro Contest 2013 invites print professionals to enter their best projects in the contest – anything from promotional displays through to premium 3D car and fleet wraps. They can also vote on which entries should go forward to the panel of expert Avery Dennison judges. Winning entries will be awarded trips to the sponsors’ training centres in Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Milan or Istanbul. The competition will run over the next three months, from 15 September until 15 December 2013.
“Our digital portfolio is evolving constantly so that we can address key market needs – and latex ink systems is one of the fastest growing technologies,” said Joanna Wolska-Kinneging, senior product management leader, sign and digital, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions – Europe. “This contest reflects our close cooperation with converters, and allows them to demonstrate the highest standards that can be achieved with optimal materials and inks – including using the new Avery Dennison® MPI™ 1950 Latex Cast Film with exceptional HP print quality and Avery Dennison® Easy Apply™ technology for the most demanding digital print applications.”
Wolska-Kinneging added, “Of course products are just a starting point for converters and installers. Equally important is the level of service before, during and after application. Avery Dennison supports converters with special requests, and gives detailed advice on printing. We also offer the largest range of free ICC profiles (more than 26,000) and a full ICS Warranty Program.”
