Avery Dennison introduces a digital portfolio for HP Indigo for customized on-demand printing

Avery Dennison introduced its digital portfolio for HP Indigo to the Asia Pacific region. The new portfolio increases convenience and efficiencies for customers using HP Indigo roll-fed presses, giving them an affordable, high-quality labelling solution that offers wide-ranging customisation options and reduced time-to-market.

The HP-certified range comprises 28 pre-optimised paper and film substrate labelling products that can be used in a range of applications such as food, home and personal care, pharmaceutical, beverage, wine and durable goods. “To gain a competitive edge, customers in these industries need a labelling solution that can support design flexibility and late-stage differentiation in smaller quantities,” said Carmen Chua, vice president, Marketing, Materials Group - Asia Pacific, Avery Dennison. “Our digital portfolio for HP Indigo offers outstanding print quality, excellent ink adhesion, and a one-year print shelf-life, which is perfect for on-demand printing.”

According to Chua, "Customers in other regions have found that these products give them the customization and convenience they're looking for, while at the same time achieving improved print quality and faster delivery to their customers. This gives them an easy route to end-customer satisfaction, and we expect this product family to be just as popular in the Asia Pacific region."

Digital printing has become increasingly popular across the global labelling industry because of the flexibility and agility it offers brand managers and converters compared to alternative label design approaches. Avery Dennison's HP Indigo product family is designed to capitalize on this trend, helping customers to spark shelf appeal and spur sales. The products are supplied in 330mm x 2000m rolls and include high-gloss and semi-gloss paper, and chrome, white and transparent film.

"In certain industries, the benefits of digital are already well-known," said Chua. "We see great potential for digital to grow as the needs of customers in various industries evolve over time. We will continue our efforts to bring our proven portfolios to Asia, so our customers can experience the benefits our products offer and sharpen their competitive edge."
