Aniflo, the Digital Alternative

Very low plate costs, 10-minute plate making, low waste, and short make-ready make the Codimag Viva 340 with it’s ANIFLO “keyless” anilox offset system the ideal solution for short-run label production.

The ANIFLO is a very unique offset printing unit on which ink is delivered by an anilox in order to get a constant and regular ink volume. The ANIFLO is the right mix of flexo and offset technologies to eliminate variables (such as ink key control for example) and stabilize the print process, reducing waste and make-ready time.
With offset quality and anilox stability, the ANIFLO allows process stabilization and control, color management becomes more reliable.

At Labelexpo Americas 2012 in Chicago (Sept. 11-13th) Codimag will demonstrate the VIVA340 ANIFLO with 7 colors, utilizing Equinox prepress by Esko, it will print 4 jobs using an expanded gamut 7-color process (CMYKOGB).

At Codimag’s booth #3429, Labelexpo visitors will have the opportunity to see 4 complete job changes LIVE during the day, and a wide variety of labels, including a technical sheet with 116 PMS colors separated out of CMYKOGB. With a fixed set of inks on press, it is possible to print many jobs without any color changes, and without wash-up downtime.

The Codimag VIVA340 can produce short runs in a single step (from roll to die-cut label), including rotary screen, lamination, varnish and hot foil stamping in a very efficient single-step process.

The Codimag VIVA340 greatly reduces your total cost and time to market. No click charge, no expensive service contracts and low plate cost with true offset quality & stability!
