Growth for Etiket Nederland results in third MPS press

MPS confirms the sale and recent installation of a new EF 430 flexo press at Etiket Nederland. This is the third MPS press for the Alkmaar, Netherlands printing company, a specialist in the Dutch label market.

The 5-colour MPS EF 430 flexo press with a web width of 420 mm and a maximum speed of 200 m/min was selected to expand Etiket Nederland’s machine park to a total of five printing presses. Also integrated on the press is a new AB Graphic Vectra turret rewinder for in-line finishing of labels. Already running full production, the EF press has impressed Etiket Nederland Director Theo Noordman: “Etiket Nederland is a rapidly growing organization. The purchase of our third MPS press has already proven a positive addition to our printing machinery. With this new press, we have increased our productivity and can extend additional flexibility to our customers.”

Founded in 1995, Etiket Nederland is a leading Dutch label market specialist in self-adhesive labels, both blank and full-colour (up to 8 colours). The company’s product portfolio includes EC, booklet, sandwich, and linerless labels, A4 laser sheets and more. Etiket Nederland is certified with BRC/IoP norms for the production of food packaging and is active in retail, food, logistics and industrial sectors. In February 2015, Etiket Nederland joined forces with Vila Etiketten to combine expertise in flexo and digital printing, resulting in an even stronger presence as a top player within the Dutch self-adhesive label market.

The MPS EF is a high-quality and highly automated multi-substrate flexo press, especially designed for label production and flexible packaging printing on thin unsupported film or thick cartonboard. MPS’ flagship press, the EF provides extensive flexibility with optional converting units that can be implemented at any location along the press using the flexible positioning rail system. The innovative MPS iControl, Quick Change Die and Crisp.Dot technologies enable operators to maximize press performance with ease of operation and reliability, providing the ultimate in printing productivity.
