Discussions about establishment European Liner and Matrix Recycling Consortium underway
FINAT is pleased to announce that it is involved in discussions with industry stakeholders from the self-adhesive supply chain relating to establishing a new consortium to actively drive the delivery of our common goal of further increasing the collection, repurposing, and recycling of spent pre-consumer liner and matrix materials in Europe. Discussions about the framework, scope, and deliverables of this consortium are on-going by the 10+ confirmed collaborating companies.
Regrettably, a planned kick-off meeting prior to the Technical Seminar in Barcelona had to be called off due to the then-emerging COVID-19 concerns, but meanwhile, a series of online meetings have taken place to kick off a number of workstreams.
More information will follow soon.
Any companies interested in joining these discussions can contact FINAT.
