FINAT has a unique structure which covers the full spectrum of the industry. FINAT is directed by a tightly-defined structure of Board and Committees.

JOIN THE COMMITTEES

The active FINAT committees (Marketing, Technical, Membership, Recycling and YMC) are looking for candidates with new, fresh ideas, who are able to dedicate a few hours per quarter of their time to the development of new and enhancement of current activities.
If you are competent in congress planning, PR, communication, social media or label industry trends, the Marketing Committee would welcome your candidacy. If you are more apt in technical, regulatory or recycling affairs, you could apply for a seat in the Technical Committee or Recycling Group. Or, perhaps you know how to persuade companies to see the benefits of a FINAT membership. Then the Membership Committee would be pleased to have you on board. On the other hand, if you are under the age of 40, a first generation owner, founder or a second or third generation manager and working in the labelling sector, then the YMC would be a good platform for you to start with.

FINAT BOARD & EXECUTIVE BOARD 

The FINAT Board is responsible for the overall management of the association, and its medium- to long-term policy. The FINAT President and Vice President Elect are always representatives of label converting companies. Read more.

FINAT MARKETING COMMITTEE

The FINAT Marketing Committee exists to understand and promote the market for the self-adhesive labelling industry, and is responsible for all issues relating to media and communication, the organisation of the annual FINAT World Congress, the International Label Competition, the worldwide marketing of FINAT membership, products and services, and for the overall promotion and advertising of self-adhesive labels and labelling. FINAT MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

The FINAT Membership Committee exists to communicate the benefits of FINAT membership to existing and potential members, to raise the profile of FINAT and to actively recruit new members. Read more.

FINAT TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

The FINAT Technical Committee exists to understand and promote the science and technology of self-adhesive labelling. It provides an informed body of professional expertise focused on the processes and materials used in the manufacture of self-adhesive labelstock, and their conversion and subsequent application. It also provides an ongoing source of technical data and expert opinion and encourages networking and improved technical understanding throughout the membership. Read more.

FINAT YOUNG MANAGERS CLUB (YMC)

The YMC is aimed at managers under 40 who want to increase their network and become the industry leaders of the future. Read more

FINAT LABEL PRINTER FORUM

The FINAT Label Printer Forum (LPF) aims to provide an open platform where label printers from different countries meet to discuss and benchmark common management problems and solutions, such as lean management, succession, young executives education, exports, waste management etc.  Read more.

FINAT SECRETARIAT

The Secretariat of FINAT is delegated to Lejeune Association Management in The Hague, The Netherlands, and is responsible for the day-to-day correspondence and the execution of decisions taken by either of the above committees. Read more.
